How we handle personal data across our services.

Last updated October 16, 2026 Covers ryfetech.com, RyfeTech Trainings, Booking storefronts, Safe Online Academy, ryfetech-quote, kids-apps

1. Who we are

This notice explains how we handle personal data at Ryfe Technology Opc ("RyfeTech", "we", "us"), Purok 3A Blue Marlins, Anonang, Kaputian, Island Garden City of Samal, Davao del Norte 8119, Philippines. Email: [email protected]. Phone: +63 976 22 777 18.

For training, you can also email [email protected]. We follow the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act 10173) of the Philippines for all our services.

2. What this notice covers

Solutions we build for clients, such as Power Apps, run in the client's own Microsoft environment and are covered by a separate notice: see "Client solutions privacy notice".

By using these services you agree to how we collect, use and share your information as described here. If you do not agree, please do not use them. Some services have their own terms, which are separate documents.

On RyfeTech Apps, RyfeTech runs the system and is responsible for the data we hold in it. Each business that uses it is responsible for how it uses its own clients' details, and for its own notice to them.

3. What we collect

Website inquiries and visitors (ryfetech.com)

  • When you use the contact form: your name, email, job title and message.
  • When you book a consultation, you go to a Microsoft Bookings page run by Microsoft. It collects your name and email.
  • Technical data such as IP address, browser type and device information is handled by our hosting provider and Cloudflare, and by the analytics tool described in section 6.

Trainings (training.ryfetech.com)

  • Registration: your name, email, mobile number, professional status, Power Platform experience and, if you choose, your organization. The form can also accept a job title, LinkedIn address, goals and accessibility needs.
  • Payment: the method you used, your transaction reference, the date and amount, and the receipt image you upload. We never take card details on the site.
  • Your agreement records: which versions of our terms and privacy notice you accepted, and whether you chose to receive marketing, with the time.
  • Learning: your enrollment, task completions, attendance, and any request to cancel or transfer with your reason.
  • Lab access: an invitation link. We build and run our training labs ourselves on Microsoft platforms. We use generic lab administrator names, not yours, and we do not hold lab passwords.
  • We do not ask for your date of birth. Training materials can be downloaded by students.
  • If you join a waitlist, subscribe to the newsletter or send a question: your name or email and your message.
  • Newsletter emails count opens and clicks per recipient. We do not store your IP address or device for this.
  • Logs of the emails we send and of staff actions on payments and records.

Booking storefronts (app.ryfetech.com)

  • Your account: your name and email, and a hashed password. Sign-in with Google or Facebook is not offered at the moment. If we switch it on, we will receive only your name, your email and that provider's account ID.
  • When you book: your phone number, name, email, whether it is your first visit, any notes you write, the services and time, and the price.
  • A record of the booking terms you accepted and when.
  • A photo of your payment confirmation if you upload one (for example a GCash screenshot).
  • Messages you send to a business. Message text is encrypted before it is stored, and our admin tools do not open clients' private messages. It is not end-to-end encryption.
  • Loyalty points, packages and attended sessions kept by the business.
  • Your IP address and browser details, held in login sessions and, for staff access, in an access log.
  • Our booking storefronts are for booking only and are not designed to collect health information. Where a business needs health details for a treatment, it takes them in person on paper, outside our systems. Please do not put health details in your booking notes.

Children and family apps: Pip the Dino ABC and ABC Quest

This section is the privacy notice for our apps for children and families, written for parents and guardians.

  • The apps do not track you and do not show advertising.
  • A parent or guardian may choose to enter a child's name and add a child's photo. Both are optional.
  • This information is kept on the device and is not sent to RyfeTech. If you back up your device, for example to iCloud, the backup is yours and we have no access to it.
  • We do not ask for an account, and we do not see or hold your child's information.
  • Because the information stays on your device, you can delete it in the app or by removing the app. We cannot delete it for you.
  • Questions: [email protected]. You can also complain to the National Privacy Commission of the Philippines.

Safe Online Academy (safe.ryfetech.com)

We do not collect personal data on this site or require an account. Your browser may keep your text size setting on your own device. The site loads fonts from Google. A feedback link opens a Microsoft form that asks which test you tried and for any feedback you want to give. It does not ask for your name or email. Please do not type personal details into the feedback box. Safe Online Academy is run by RyfeTech.

Quote estimator (quote.ryfetech.com)

When it is live, you can get an estimate for a project. To receive the result, you give your email address. If you choose to send a quote request, we also ask for your name and your message, and optionally your phone number and company. If you turn on its optional help, the text of your answers (never your name, email or phone) is sent to Anthropic. See our subprocessors page.

4. Why we use your data

  • To answer your inquiry and give you support.
  • To run a training or a booking: take and check payment, give you access, take attendance, issue receipts and send the emails you need.
  • To keep our services secure and working, including login sessions, logs and spam protection.
  • To understand how the website is used, to improve it.
  • To send you marketing only where you chose it, with a way to stop.

If we want to use your information for any other purpose, we will ask for your consent first, and use it only for the purpose you agreed to, unless the law requires otherwise.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

Our subprocessors page lists the providers that run our sites and email. On our website we use trusted third-party services such as Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it. These may collect your IP address, browser type, device information and browsing behavior. We use this information in aggregated form, and it does not directly identify you.

We may also disclose your personal information to comply with applicable law, regulation, court order or other legal process; to enforce our agreements with you, including this notice; or to respond to claims that your use of our services violates any third party's rights. If our services or our company are merged with or acquired by another company, your information may be one of the assets transferred to the new owner.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We keep cookies to what each service needs.

7. How long we keep it

The Data Privacy Act does not set one fixed period. We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, and for any period the law requires. Our retention periods are:

  • Learning and lab access for a training lasts 15 days from release.
  • Payment and financial records: 10 years, as Philippine tax rules require.
  • Payment screenshots: deleted once the booking or payment is confirmed, unless they are needed for our financial records.
  • Contact form inquiries and booking messages: 12 months after the last contact.
  • Accounts that have not been used: deleted after 2 years.
  • Newsletter contacts: until you unsubscribe.
  • Backups: overwritten within 90 days.

We review these periods regularly.

Anonymous and aggregated information, which does not identify you, may be kept indefinitely.

8. Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act you may have the right to access, correct or erase your personal data, to receive a copy of it, to object to how we use it, to ask us to pass it to another organization, and to withdraw any consent you gave us. You may also complain to the National Privacy Commission of the Philippines. See our data deletion page for how to ask. To use these rights, write to [email protected], and we will respond in line with the law.

If you do not allow us to collect or use the information we need, or you withdraw your consent, you may not be able to use the service it was needed for.

9. Keeping data safe

We use reasonable security measures to prevent the loss, misuse or unauthorized change of your information. For example, we keep payment images and uploads in private storage, limit access by role, use signed time-limited links for receipts, encrypt lab links and message text, and keep each business's booking data separate from the others. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information you send us.

This notice does not cover linked websites we do not operate. We have no control over, and take no responsibility for, their content, privacy policies or practices, so please read the policy of every site you visit.

11. Children and families

Our trainings and booking services are meant for adults. Training is aimed at working adults aged 18 and over. We do not set a hard age limit, and we never ask for a date of birth.

Safe Online Academy has a test for kids and teens and collects no personal data. Our apps for children and families are described in section 3, under "Children and family apps".

12. Where data is held

Our sites are hosted by Hostinger on servers in Asia. Cloudflare passes traffic to our sites, and Microsoft and Google handle some data. This means your information can be processed outside the Philippines.

13. Changes

We may change this notice at any time and will post the new version on this site. For the website, the revised notice takes effect 180 days after it is posted, and continuing to use the website after that means you accept it. For trainings, we may ask you to accept a new version again.

14. Grievance and data protection contact

For questions or concerns about your data, email [email protected] and our data protection contact, Charven Ligan (owner), will respond. You can also write to Ryfe Technology Opc, Purok 3A Blue Marlins, Anonang, Kaputian, Island Garden City of Samal, Davao del Norte 8119, Philippines. We will address your concern in line with applicable law.
